IPL2019 has not been in the favor of Virat Kohli led RCB (Royal Challenger Banglore). With the today’s lose from Delhi DareDevils the team got its name registered in an unwanted record table. The match was being played in Chinnaswamy Stadium.
With the defeat the RCB team recorded for the maximum consecutive losses right since 2019. Most consecutive losses in an IPL season have been as follows:
- #6 Matches RCB in year 2019
- 6 Delhi Daredevils in 2013
- 5 Deccan Charges in 2012
- 5 Mumbai Indians in 2014
In the today’s match RCB played the first innings where it scored 149 runs by losing 8 wickets. Virat Kohli scored 41 runs in 33 balls where he hit one boundary and 2 sixes. M. Ali also tried to lift up the score and hit 3 sixes and 1 boundary. He scored 32 runs out of 18 balls.
With the low first inning score the players got disappointed and were worried but they showed the calm and presence of mind. However, S. Lyer managed to hit half century. He scored 67 out of 50 balls.
Overall the match was quite enjoying. For the RCB players and of course the RCB fans this IPL has not been favorable and interesting either way. Delhi Daredevils recorded one more victory and slightly managing to develop confidence with the wins.
